Is full fibre coming to my area?

Just wondering whether anyone knows how I can find out if full fibre is going to be available on the street where I live.  Spectrum comms have been doing work up a pole opposite the street and digging up the side of the road around the corner.  The sign said Quickline are bringing full fibre to the area.  I'm guessing this is to do with project Gigabit which brings fibre to rural area (I live in a rural location).  I'm assuming that if full fibre is fitted and available, all broadband providers will be able to offer it - not just Quickline - but I don't really know.

@nicky5065, was the assistance provided by @fr8ys helped?

This is a perennial question to which there is no easy answer.

Once TalkTalk make it available in your region, you will probably contacted to upgrade.

However, just because the infrastructure is being installed in your area does not mean it will be available to TalkTalk customers as TalkTalk would need to partner with the supplier.

Also, many infrastructure installers will partner exclusively with an ISP in the early months to maximise income from their investment.

Another thing to take into account is that if you are under contract, fees will apply if you change to another company to get the fibre others may offer.

Hope this helps.
