Laptop Disconnecting when using VPN

Hello,

 

Late last Wednesday my laptop started to cycle from no internet to connecting when I was connected to my company VPN. It works fine when I am not connected to the VPN and will work fine when tethered to my mobile phone and connected to the VPN.

 

I thought it was just the company VPN being funny at the end of the day but it is still happening.

 

My router is the DG8041W-2.T5

HWVer 1.01

SWVer v1.05t

 

I have waisted about 3 hours taking to the online chat that offered no help whatsoever but have seen people with similar problems get help here.

Thanks for your quick reply.

 

I have spent lunchtime resetting the router and laptop/forgetting the WiFi info and it seems like they now want to play nice with eachother. 

 

I will keep and eye on it and hopefullyit was just a one off as I have not had any problems until now.

Hi Matt,

 

No reported issues with that model of router and VPN specifically.  It is possible the router could be at fault however so to rule this out, I'll get another out to you so we can be sure.

 

Can you add your home phone number to your 'Community Profile' so I can locate your details.
