Manual channel selection issue

Hi,

 

I have manually selected channel 100 for my 5 GHz wifi because there is no congestion on this channel. All neighbours are using channel 36 to 40. After around 2hours I'm seeing that the manual selection is changed to 40, causing dropouts. I understand there is a remote management "feature" called "WiFi optimisation" that overrides the user manual selection. Please can I request this is disabled on my account.

The WIFI optimisation has now been switched off, please let us know how the connection compares.
