No Internet, online says contract cancelled

We've just moved house, pre ordered Internet to go live on May the 1st which it did. Was slow at first but was told on Monday that the line takes 7 to 10 days to stabalise. I work from home and the Internet was fine today until about 11am, suddenly it went off and hasn't been working all day. Went online to try and see what was the matter in my account, it says my contract has been cancelled without any notice or reason given as to why? Called the number and said I would need an engineer sent out to sort issue, unsure as to why as was working fine until today. Has anyone has a similar issue or have an answer as to why this may be happening.
