No new logs

Recently our Wi-Fi drops and then reconnects.  Our Hime alarm is connected so clear via it’s detailed logs when this occurs.

 

This morning the router dropped Wi-Fi and was showing orange led.  A power cycle solved the problem, but since it is occurring about once a day I thought I’d check the logs.

 

However the logs stopped recording 30/06/2021 midnight.

 

Also slightly concerning that they started in 2013 so while new out of the box a rather old device.  This might be normal.

 

Any ideas?  From older posts it seems that a factory reset won’t clear logs.

 

We have FTTP and the router version SG4K10002816t

The Sagemcom FAST 5364 hub that you have does have all sorts of bugs in the system log like the one you are describing. It is hoped that this will be fixed when new firmware is released.

 

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate the unstable connection issue for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday), but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. Please try to avoid posting on here until TalkTalk have responded to you, otherwise, this will just put you further down the queue.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
