Oh my goodness...router drops connection every few minutes

Hi,

 

My router is dropping connection every few minutes and then (usually) rapidly reconnects. 

 

This is a problem that has been happening for several months.

 

A new router was fitted by an engineer, but the problem persists.

 

It seems the new router has a dodgy power cable as it switches of immediately if it is moved (i.e. to read the password).

 

What is frustrating is that in my business premises I have a TalkTalk fibre router which is clearly more robust and the connections works without a problem.

 

I have repeatedly been in touch with Support (several hours have accumulated now). They go through the usual questions each time and each time the problem is not resolved.

 

Has anyone any ideas? My contract is due for renewal and I'm think the only option is to leave Talk Talk and get another provider.

It appears that a replacement router was ordered yesterday and you should receive this within the next 24hrs.
