Openreach Engineer not needed

My Internet was down earlier so I ran a test to see what was going on, I was redirected to a page that said an engineer was being requested, even though I was just checking my connection and didn't request an engineer myself...

My Internet is now working again, but I have received an email saying an Openreach Engineer will be coming in the next 2-3 days to fix the issue. As I said, my Internet is working now so there is no issue. Is there any way to cancel the engineer visit?

Yes it has been working all day today. I noticed there had been planned maintenance last night, but I'm not sure if my area was part of that, maybe that was the issue?

Hi FrankB1

It looks like this fault is with a line engineer, investigating externally on the line. This is not an appointment to the property.

Has the connection been working ok since your last post?

Thanks

Debbie
