I connect to my Heatapp to control my heating system remotely.
Previously I had normal broadband connected to a Netgear hub and this port forwarded to the Heatapp hub with no problems.
I have now changed to fibre and have a new TP Link modem router and cannot now get my Heatapp to control my system remotely. I have set up the TP hub exactly as instructed and it shows on the virtual servers page as below
External port 6653
Internet IP 192.168.1.246
Internal port 6653
I have been in contact with the Heatapp providers and the confirm all details are correct and have checked all components and can find no problems. They are suggesting that the switch to fibre may be the cause.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

You could try switching your router off for 30 minutes then switch back on and retest. It's always worth giving this a try and it forces the start of a new session and does tend to fix a lot of problems
