Hi Oce

I’m getting a couple of websites that get blocked when I’m in WiFi, I know it already blocks gambling sites however it’s blocking a couple of restaurants/ bars one being chef and brewer , i can access if not in WiFi. Is this to do with talktalk?

kind regards

Hi

This could be why, only way to test is to turn this off and try the websites again.

The problem can occur if the website itself has the wrong classification also.  Some Site admins may have failed to register the site with the correct type etc.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi hucks,

Have you also tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes and then retested again as this will reset the current session.

Thanks

One thing to try. Turn off the firewall in the router and re-test the failing site(s), via wifi.

If it still fails then it is down to either your O/S firewall or whatever virus / site checker you are using.  Do Not forget to turn the firewall back on after testing.

Also please quote what router you are using.
