Hi Guys,

i've been having problems with my HG633 wireless router dropping signal, having buffering issues, not connecting and also has a poor range.

My 2 children received new xbox ones for christmas and are unable to keep a connection when playing online and also have lagging issues.

I have 63mb fibre and would have thought this would have been ample to have a stable connection.

ive googled the Hg633 router and have not found a good review for this router.

Ive been with talk talk for a number of years now and was wondering if i could get a router upgrade to the new talk talk router to eliminate the wifi issues.

I'm really sorry to hear this.

 

Have you tried testing different wireless channels? Change your wireless channel

 

We can send a replacement DSL3782 or HG633 router via the Community.

 

If you contact our Customer Service Team then they can discuss sending you a WiFI Hub.

thanks for your reply.

I have looked at the comments in the community on the DSL3782 router and apparently this is worse than the HG633 for drops and wifi connection.

I was looking to obtain the new wifi hub as a loyal customer who has been with talk talk for many years.

Could you help me with this?

I have also tried all 11 wifi channels and still cant get a good connection.

Ive also put router back to factory setting to no avail'

Ive just had a look and i've had this HG633 router for nearly 3 years and think maybe it may be on it's last legs.

Hi Debbie,

I recently contacted you regarding talk talk agreeing to send me out the new WiFi hub on January 13th 2020.

They said it will be delivered in 3 to 5 working days but still have not received it.

Could you please look into this for me.

Sorry about this, I can see a note saying it had been agreed to send the wifi hub but no indication that it has been ordered. I've ordered the router, it should be with you within a couple of days, apologies again for the delay

I've received and set up the new WiFi hub and I have to say it's absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic speed tests and seems to stream content great.
