Slow internet after a few days

After a few days my internet on WiFi drops from 40 to 3. I reboot the router and it’s back up to 40. When slow I have connected via Ethernet cable and speed is at best 10. This slowness has been going on for months and I now want a solution.

Hello,

So the replacement router has been giving me minimum 40, over the last few days.  So I will keep this replacement router.

The old router is clearly faulty, what do you want me to do with it ? ( I suggest I bin it as its very old and useless).

Hello,

 

I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault. Do you have an alternative router that you can test with? If not then we can send a replacement router for testing purposes. We would also send a router returns bag so that one of the routers can be returned.
