I am in Aberdeen. Contacted TalkTalk on phone and was told that he couldn't find a problem and was forwarding query to the case team. Told someone would be in touch within 5 working days. Not ideal. Tried another router and got a red light on internet button.

Morning, got the same issue and managed to finally get through to someone on live chat, not sure of your area but we were told that it's being looked into it and could possibly expect a connection in the next couple hours but currently there own systems are down as they weren't able to deal with any sort of account enquiry in the live chat and on the phone.
