Speed dropped from 150 to 3 meg overnight - wired connection

Not sure what has happened but my G.Fast connection has dropped by x50 overnight.

Was online until about 1AM anyway and didn't notice a speed change, but this morning it is now topping out at 3MB/s on both wired and wireless speeds - currently using my 4G backup.

Have switched out my own router to the TalkTalk provided one but it is still the same.

Rebooted the Openreach modem a number of times - still the same.

 

I note that several people posted same after some "work" done last night so wondering if there is a wider issue that is NOT being reported on the status dashboard

Noticed that status update now, only took you half a day to notice that your service is degraded across the country.

Hello,

 

I'm sorry for the delay. There is currently an incident raised which our team are currently investigating and I will post back here as soon as I receive an update back. It's for loss of service, however it's possible that this may also be affecting the speed.

Now dropped to half a meg since I last checked at 10AM.

Upload speed is still within normal margins of 20-30 meg.
