Stopping router changing channel Sagemcom router

Hi 

What is the easiest way to get wifi channel optimisation turned off. 

 

Having to reset 2.4ghz channel daily to channel 11 as neighbour's use channel 1 and 6.

We’ve found that posting in someone else’s conversation makes it harder to follow when looking for an answer.

Same issue. By WiFi and neighbours all on the same channels. Could you disable it for my account?

If you start a new conversation asking for router channel Optimisation to be turned. Talk Talk should pick it up.
Just be confident you are happy setting your best channel using wifi analyser app etc.

Hi. I have exactly the same problem and have to manually change channel every day. Assuming it won't adversely affect my broadband performance in any other way, please would you disable the optimisation technology on my line?

Hi Simon,

 

Our performance monitoring tool will only change channels when interference is detected.  It will learn about each device that is connected over time.

 

However our Products Team have advised if you are experiencing issues and would prefer to select your own wireless channels then we can arrange for Wi-Fi optimisation technology to be switched off on your line. Would you like us to switch this off for you?
