Sudden packet loss

Yesterday my son started having sudden packet loss whilst gaming, to the point he can't game - the only thing that has changed recently is that I purchased a new wifi hub from Talk Talk and installed it a couple of weeks ago. Everything seemed better with the new hub until yesterday. My connection tests are all showing okay and general browsing seems okay up until we have tried to work from home today and things are now pretty slow.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with your service. Line test is passing and sync speed looks good. The connection look generally stable but there were 4 reconnections on the 4th

 

Do you experience the packet loss and slow speeds on devices connected to your router by both Ethernet cable and wifi?

 

How has it been over the last couple of days?
