Superfast Fibre (FTTC)

Hi - currently, the best speed I've been able to get via Fibre is 13mb - this is due to the distance between my property and the cabinet, I'm told. However, the town I live in is being upgraded to full-fibre i.e. not fibre via copper wiring.  Is there any way I can find out when I'm due to have this done? The Openreach website says Superfast Fibre (FTTC), is now available for my address, but this can't be the case as there's been no digging in my road.

Hi Stephen

When you signed up for fibre, what predicted speed range were you provided for your line?

Thanks

You are on FTTC right now is you have TT Faster Fibre.

What you need to look out for is FTTP.

However, if and when this is installed in your area there is no automatic upgrade to that service.

From recent threads on the subject, TT are prioritising new customer installations and it looks like this is going to be broadband-only with no landline.
