Time required to upgrade Faster Fibre connection

I upgraded my account on the 24th August 2019 to add the 'Fibre Speed Boost' to my Faster Fibre connection.

 

My previous connection had a 10 Mb upload and 40 Mb download speed. 

 

My estimated broadband speeds
  

Download Speeds

Maximum speed

75.4 Mb

Typical speed range

54.6 Mb to 73.6 Mb

Minimum guaranteed speed

49.5 Mb

  

Upload Speeds

Maximum speed

18.9 Mb

Typical speed range

17.2 Mb to 18.9 Mb

Minimum speed

5.0 Mb

  

Contract length

 

How long will it take for the Fibre Speed Boost to be applied to my account?

 

Will I be informed when the boost has been applied?  

 

I have just turned my router off for 30 minutes and turned it back on again but my speeds have remained unchanged.

 

Please advise when I can expect my boost to be applied?

I do not see it. Where exactly should I look?

 

Incidentally I have today received an email from TalkTalk stating that I have the Speed boost still in my basket which when I click on the link says that this boost will be £5 per month when my original confirmation email states that the boost has been discounted from £5 to £0 per month for 18 months.

 

This is all very confusing and annoying.
