Unstable VPN

I am connected to a Pulse Secure VPN system via my Windows 10 work PC. My VPN connecting keeps dropping often. I have a eero 6 system with extenders. I noticed my mobile drops connecting sometimes as well. It is quite annoying.

Apologies for this.

 

I've checked and the firmware has been updated.

 

I have also completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults but I can see re connections on the line. Would you like me to send a different make and model of router for testing to see how the connection compares?

That seems to have made things worse as my WhatsApp calls started dropping, which has not happened for a long while. I will stick with latest update for now

I could try changing the firmware version to see if other version works better with your VPN, would you like to give it a try?

IT department had mentioned that the previous VPN had issues with TalkTalk, but this should be fine. It seems to be more stable in the afternoons.

I have had this problem since the VPN installed and general performance issues with video calls since I have had TalkTalk.

I lose access to my work files temporarily. The VPN connection tries to reconnect then it works. I don't have this issue at the office or at my mum's sky broadband.

Thanks. What actually happens when the VPN drops, do you get an error message?
