Upgraded.... more money but no more speed!!!

My standard fibre deal ran out last week so I did a deal to upgrade and renew with TT who offered me the superfast Fibre... which when I looked at my updated account meant just adding speed boost to my old standard fibre deal. It has gone live.... guess what... made no difference what so ever, still getting 38MB download, not the 52MB+ I was promised. Easy to renew my contract not so easy to contact anyone to fix the lack of speed change!!!! 

 

Same Router, hardwired tests.

 

I see this is a common topic, but I was told to create a new thread so my problem would be looked into.

Can you please update your community profile to include your:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Alternative contact number

@givemespeed yes just wait for a oce to reply soon can be a few days to a week or more.

 

Some times the speed boost does not work for all.

 

And can take up to 14days.

 

Please wait until a oce to reply soon they will do some checks and reply back.

 

Please make sure your profile is finished so they can help A bite of info of Forum:

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
