Upload Speed Higher Than Download

Our router's ip address changed 4 days ago and I only realised that something was wrong when it was taking time to download, including my emails. I did a speed test on TalkTalks web site and shocked to see download is 4.0 Mbps and upload 5.4 Mbps. Since we lost phone and internet in May when I have checked the router stats they have been a steady 40 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Morning,

Have you tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes as this will reset the current session and can often increase the throughput speed?

Thanks

Hi @Neries,

Have you tried switching the router off for over 30 minutes to force a new session in the street cabinet, this can sometimes resolve issues like this.

If you log into your router to check your sync speed does this show a normal download speed, or is this also low.
