VPN Issue

Hi,

I'm having issues connecting through my work's VPN and accessing internet at the same time.  I can do one or the other.

 

Every time I make a VPN connection to access work's network drive all other access shuts down.  When I disconnect from VPN it comes back on again.

 

Lots of other people use this setup with other ISPs without problems.  Tech guy has said the problem is with TalkTalk.

 

This this a router setting / issue or general problem?

Hi James,

 

I think they probably mean a WAN static IP address which we don't provide. Could you confirm that they mean a WAN static IP address (provided by ISP) and not a LAN static IP Address

Hi - Huawei HG633

 

Just had the line checked - all OK.

 

Tech support have texted to say that I need a static IP address not the default which is dynamic.  

 

I guess that will be some settings on the router - but could do with help sorting this please!
