VPN not working

Hello, 

 

After a year of not having a problem my work VPN won't connect today, I've reset the router, I can connect when tethered via a phone but not over wifi or ethernet cable on the talk talk modem. Please advise a solution.

Yes, both that and via the router settings page. Neither makes any difference.

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

Your router firmware version is - 2816t.

 

Can I just check, did you factory reset the router using the pin hole reset for ten seconds?

Ok, you do have the Sagemcom router, but that is not the latest version of firmware (it is firmware SG4K100130 that has only just been released that has recently caused a few issues with VPN connectivity).

 

The staff here on the community should hopefully be able to respond tomorrow to help with this.

I don't know, the version says SG4K10002816t.

 

And yes windows built in VPN.

Hi @C1234,

 

Do you have the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub ?

If so, if you go to http://192.168.1.1/ and look at the 'version' towards the bottom of the screen is it SG4K100130 ?

What VPN software are you trying to use, is it the built in Windows 10/11 VPN ?
