VPN suddenly not working - FibreBroadband but no access!!

For the last year I have been accessing a work VPN through a SonicWall connection.  All of a sudden this week, it's stopped working.  My work IT Department tells me that it's something to do with the PPTP port on the router.  My router is a D-Link Model DSL-3782. 

 

Please can you tell me how I can get this issue resolved.  I work from home 1-2 days per week and currently am paying for a connection where i can't access anything.

The HG633 router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

 

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
