Very slow broadband

Hello

 

Please can some explain why we have very slow interent speeds?

 

Our contact had run out and was offered a new deal with the new TalkTalk HUB we were informed TalkTalks new HUB is one of the best on the markert for WiFi connection at the moment.  We set up the HUB a day ago and check the connection speed and was very happy with the speeds hit 25mbps to 30mbps. Then day two happened and the speed drops to 5.56 Mbps to 11 Mbps why is this?

 

We pay good money and today have ahd issues playing online games with the connect dropping and jumping all the time. Yes I understand that WiFi is not the best way to connect a PC for online gaming but that is the only choose we have.

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults and your line is in sync at 40mb.

 

Are you running speed tests when connected wired or wireless?
