When do you need to cancel an engineer to avoid charges

I was having trouble with slow fibre broadband speeds between 6pm and 12am,now tonight my speeds are excellent, there is an engineer booked for Friday after noon 3pm .should I cancel his visit and will I be charged!

Our Network Team made some changes 72hrs ago to resolve this. Did you manage contact our tech team and cancel this visit?
