WiFi calling

I've looked at many issues around WiFi calling. It should be possible as TalkTalk supports it and I'm using Android. I have an Honor 8x and my Fiance has a Samsung A21S. Neither show the WiFi calling option in the settings although all searches for both handsets state it should be there. I can only assume it to be a TalkTalk compatibility issue and not Android. Any pointers or experiences from others welcomed.

Thanks very much for the information. I'm with GiffGaff and they don't do WiFi calling at the moment. The decision is now to wait for GiffGaff or go with another network. GiffGaff use O2, whom do support WiFi calling on their own contracts.

Hi

As ferguson advises, I'd also look at the network provider and test calls on other wireless networks, friends etc.

WiFi calling works for me on Pixel 4 with EE network, over TalkTalk.

Thanks

Karl.

TalkTalk do support it, it is platform neutral in respect of ISPs and other carriers. You need to look at the compatibility of your mobile network as well as handset.

There is a helpful explanatory article here.
