I've been with talk talk for a couple of years now, and also recently renewed my contract. I wasn't sent a new router.
I'm still using the old (plain black) router, but I am getting frequent drops in connection.
I have done a line test, and that looks okay, so I'm suspecting it is the router.
Could I please request a new router, which will hopefully solve the problem.

I'm sorry to hear this. I can see that you are using the HG633 router.
I have ordered a replacement router and a returns bag for your current router.
Please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive. Let us know how the connection compares.

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-
1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)? Please note most TalkTalk routers look very similar in appearance.
2. What is the exact status of the lights on the front of the router when this happens?
3. If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
I am not employed by TalkTalk, I'm just a customer. If my post has fixed the issue, please set Accept as Solution from the 3 dot menu.
