iPhone 12 pro max having Wi-Fi problems

since I've had an iPhone 12 I've been having Wi-Fi problems with the box that comes with TalkTalk. sometimes I have to turn the Wi-Fi on off on my phone for it to work get out on the internet.

 

doesn't happen on any of my other devices in the house, only iPhone 12

it's running the latest version of the operating system. ios 14.4.1.

 

when I put my own internet box, I don't get the issue then. (Linksys EA8500-UK)

 

only when I use TalkTalk internet box.

 

the software version

 Hardware Version. FAST5364 3.00

Software Version. SG4K10002816t

GUI Version 3.7.8

 

does it need a system update done to it?

I want to write that I have fixed my issue with the iPhone 12, I have switched to another brand of Internet box, I found it on the Apple website.

Haven’t had the issue since I have put these in.

Plus, I have got a speed increase on my download and upload
My download speed went up by 10 MB

Anyone having an issue with iPhone 12 pro max recommends getting this box.

But always try anything is before buying a new box.

This has been escalated back to our Warehouse Team for investigation as it appears that the routers orders are progressing and should be sent out.

I've checked on the router order and the router is not yet showing as dispatched, apologies for this.

 

I have escalated this over to our Warehouse Team and I will keep checking on this router order and I will post back on this thread.

Yes it's the Huawei WIFI hub not the HG633 router.

The Huawei WIFI hub is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

yes, I would like to try out Huawei box. 

 

seems to be a problem with TalkTalk box only

 

I'm starting to feel like it's some sort of protocol with the software between the Internet Box and the iPhone 12.

 

yesterday I was near a friend's Wi-Fi point for a while and didn't get an issue with my iPhone 12.

he is on bt.

sorry for the late reply.

 

I have just tested apples big update that fixed a lot of issues.

 

still hasn't fixed the Wi-Fi for me.

 

currently running iPhone operating system (ios 14.5)

 

what Internet Box would you be sending out?
