lights on new wi-fi hub

I have just    set hub a new wi-fi hub   I am 82 yrs old,   my other router had  a set of lights on it so you could see at a glance  what was working Eg  if the red light  was off you knew it was the


This new hub  has One very white light.........  set it up over ten days ago,but yesterday

there wasnt ant light..... I had to go thro  the system of   checking  power  etc, I had no way ok knowing  what had happened.


I did get the light back after  30 mins....... but still dont know  if it was the internet  or not,


my mac said  no server...... be good to have the lights back

I'm sorry for the delay. I've included a Help Article below which contain more information on the wifi hub lights and what they mean. Is your connection ok at the moment?


set up your wi-fi hub


  1. Blinking amber – Your Wi-Fi Hub is starting up.
  2. Blinking amber and white – Your Wi-Fi Hub is connecting to the Internet.
  3. Solid white – You’re connected to the Internet.
  4. Solid amber – Your Wi-Fi Hub is verifying your connection. If you’ve got Fibre you should wait a few minutes. If you haven’t got Fibre, or the light stays solid amber for more than 15 minutes, please contact us.
