can someone turn of wifi channel omptimzation off

Nope, there is nothing you need to do, the Wi-Fi Optimisation in the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub can only be switched off remotely by the staff here on the community, so once they have done that they will just reply to you here on this topic to let you know it has been done. Form that point on the router should stay on whatever channel you manually set it to.

 

Although if you were to factory reset the router, or the router firmware gets upgraded, it is likely the setting would get switched on again, so you might have to ask the staff here to turn it back off again for you.

 

It is only the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub that has Wi-Fi Optimisation, none of the other TalkTalk routers have this functionality enabled.

Hi @khendy123,

 

Assuming you have the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub then the staff here will be able to turn this off for you, they will hopefully be able to respond to this post tomorrow.
