slow Faster Fiber broadband

I'm on the Faster Fibre package, but it's been a few months that the broadband is very slow. It's only at 2 or 3 tabs strength. My laptop is not the cause of it, as I have tried different computers and my wifi printer cannot connect. I cannot print and videos keep buffering.

I also changed channel, but it did not help. At the moment, I am connected to the internet via cable ethernet. Please, I need someone to sort out this problem.

Hi Niki11,

 

Line test is passing and your router is in sync at 79.9Mbps. Is it only wireless devices that are affected? Is she device that's connected by Ethernet cable OK?

I think from your post that its your wi-fi that's slow and the ethernet connection is fine?

 

If so then there are many things that can effect wi-fi strength (router position, interference from electrical devices, interference from neighbours wi-fi to name a few).

 

You can get some excellent advice on here about wi-fi issues but please could you confirm that it is a wi-fi issue first.
