You also say here that you do not have internet.
What you actually need is somebody to check your network authentication as if the line is in sync, which it would appear to be from that post above, that is what is missing.
What you are experiencing is nothing to do with router firmware.
Live Chat and the "manager" cannot find you because network authentication is missing.
Try turning off the router for 30 minutes, other customers have found a forced reconnection over that time can fix the issue.
Once staff sort out the above issue, if the router does need updating that should happen overnight in the first couple of days.

So, mate, just how do you think they can magically send you a software update when you have stated you do not have an internet connection mate ?

Routers are updated OVER the online connection, so if you are offline then it cannot be done.
As far as I am aware there are no updates that directly affect internet connectivity, they are mainly to do with menu features.
