Full fibre installed this morning ; however MyAccount still shows as Fibre 65  and download sppeds not increased.

Do TalkTalk have to throw a switch to show correct package and for me to get the promised  download speed?

Thank you for getting back to us @actomox1. It sounds like everything is working well with your new Sagecom 3 router, and it's great to hear that your speed check shows 132 Mbps! If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask.

Thanks for that comprehensive reply.  Yes, I was checking in My account which hadn't been updated.  It is connected to the white box installed today and is a Sagecom 3 router.  A separate speed check does indicate it is now at 132 mbps so all is well.  Thanks again.

PS I sent the above straightaway from my email, not noticing it was a no-reply address there, so am now doing it correctly having been notified of a delay in the email.  Apologies

Silly question, but is the router attached to the ONT box fitted by the engineer? You really should see an increase in speed immediately. If it is to the ONT you will have been switched.

Which router do you have?

If its an Eero the speed is measured within the app.

Are you doing a speed check using the speed check within My Account? It could be that your copper line has not been switched off yet and measuring that?

If you are doing it via a phone app for example, the speed to the device itself may be limited so you won't see an improvement

It took a day or two for my line to settle due to updates to the boxes, so that may also be a factor.

I wouldn't rush to do it but if no improvement in the morning, you could try turning both the ONT and router off for 30 minutes to start a new sessions.

Please let us know how you get on.
