HI There,
I have just spent 45 minutes on a call and on hold for most of it (08001079000).
When I was eventually transferred to the appropriate department the call dropped after 4 rings.
Great.
I was to have my service upgraded to fibre today. The engineers arrived to install the fibre.
They installed the box inside my property. They installed the cable from the toby outside my property.
The only problem encountered is that there are no cable in the manhole connected to the cabinet. When they did the air blow through of the cable it leads to a different manhole with no cabinet connections.
The reason I was calling the above number is that I was asked to inform TalkTalk of the issue.
Just wasted an hour it seems. It would be more efficient to conduct a survey prior to offering upgrades.
Could you please ensure that my existing package is not disconnected before there is a working fibre network in my area

Work completed today and Fibre up and running.

Hi Chris,
They have backfilled the trench now and the ducting is now in place. All of the cabling looks to completed. Only thing will be the connection of the fibre in the cabinet, all other work was completed last week inside the property.
According to the upgrade offer a WiFi hub is supposed to be included. Still no sign of that. Have you found out if it has been sent?
