What if I dont want Future Broadband?
My contract is due for renewal in a few months time however it looks like I am in a FTTP area.
All the comparison sites are showing services with FTTP only.
However I want to keep my landline number and I have asked until I am blue in the face with Talk Talk that this is required for medical reasons. But they keep telling me to use a mobile.
If Talk Talk cant offer a telephone service on FTTP I will have no option but to switch to Vodafone.
Why cant they just carry on with my existing service and price match it against a rival with the copper service?

@anthonydclark VOIP should generally be cheaper than the old copper service. You said you wanted to keep your old phone number so you have no option but to use a VOIP service which moves your number to the cloud. I'm guessing you keep the same TalkTalk calling groups as previously, but thats a guess on my part as I haven't had the chance to migrate to Full Fibre yet.

We will all be moving on to VOIP services over the next few years.

I am at a loss why Talk Talk put my number on to VOIP like the other providers.
Certainly means I cant TalkTalk to my family or people I know!
