Has anyone experience of using a smart tv instead of youview box or for recording only in conjuction with a smart tv?
The reason I ask is I find my youview box is slow, regularly requires a reset and even though it is talktalks latest it sems it has been around for many years. No sign of a newer version and youview generally seems to me going out of fashion.
I have been looking at an lg smart tv specs and it offers everything youview offers playback wise and even a record facility though a USB stick.
I would welcome comments.
