If I were to tick the box for an international call boost today, when would the boost become active and when would I be charged. Would it be today, in a couple of days or from the start of my next billing period?
If the boost and charge are within a couple of days and not from the next billing period, does it work retrospectively back to the start of this period, or would I be charged for a month's boost but supplied with just a couple of weeks and charged for calls already made within this charging period??

You would have a pro rata charge on your next bill from the time the boost went active (can be 24 hours) to your bill date. Then an advance charge for the next month, boosts have to be active for a minimum 30 days before you can remove it.
Hope that makes sense.

Up to two days it says here:
I cannot imagine that they would charge you from a date before it becomes active, but I will leave that point to be answered by the support team.
