Would it be possible to have a Broken Dial Tone when the telephone is diverting?

Hi @TimTraylor

Sorry I don't understand the question, If you have a broken dialtone it usually means there is a voicemail waiting.

Sorry I didn’t realise that a broken dial tone was used to denote that there is a message waiting.

When we used this service with BT it signified that call diversion was on. At the moment we have to leave bits of paper by the ‘phone!

Thank you

Hi Tim

Once the messages have been listened to and saved or deleted then the dial tone should go back to normal.

Thanks

Thank you.

I understand now how the call messaging works.

Can something be applied when you have call diversion?

Hi Tim

To check if call divert is switched on:

About Call Divert

  1. Dial * #
  2. Now dial whichever divert code is active
  3. Confirm it by dialling #
  4. How do I switch off Call Divert?
  5. Dial #
  6. Now enter the divert code that's active
  7. Confirm by dialling #

Yes I see that, but it would be so much easier if there was something like a broken dial tone to warn you that it is switched on,

Hi Tim
