Caller ID stopped working 4 months ago

My caller ID has stopped working for the second time.  I've been round in circles for hours with Talktalk via text and webchat, who have tested the line and found no fault.  I've also taken the cover plate off the master socket and there is no second port to test with because it is old.  The phone used to work with caller display.  I believe it is a common fault whereby the card at the exchange has to be reset, because this problem occurred a couple of years ago and reset solved it, but I cannot get anyone to listen to me and take this action.  Please help sort this out.

The  caller display has been  removed and re-added the caller display service. 

 

Can you retest.
