Cant make or receive calls, no dial tone

I'm in the same position - not able to make or receive calls but internet is working fine.   White noise can be heard from handset.   Please help!

Please ensure your Community Profile Personal Information (Click here) includes your TalkTalk landline phone number and an alternate number (mobile recommended). Add, then scroll down and save changes. The TalkTalk Community support OCE will then be able to link to your TalkTalk service account and carry out line tests.

Line tests pick up a loop fault, Can you please follow the steps in our help page I have no dialtone

Problm rectified itself but has now happened again!!!

It looks like the engineer originally booked for 18th has since been cancelled. We will need to pass this back to our network team to rearrange the engineer. 

 

Can you send me  a private message advising best time and dates incase the engineer requires access to the property.
