Check and Report flaw

Yesterday, I received a scam call from 0197005270666 too many digits to report, but last number block worked.

Landline call, the details are below.

An automated call saying my connection was going to be terminated within the next 24hrs and my line had been hacked. Press 1 or 2 (I didn't catch what was said) maybe something to do with, BT press1.

Obvious premium number callback scam that can't be reported because the number digits exceed the amount allowed to input and report it, the scammers are one step ahead. My connection is fine, with the exception of the noise on the landline, I've learned to live with this.

Hi @15243p

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have seen this in the past and been able to manually add the number to check and report from our side, I will request this today.

A line test has picked up a slight fault which we can pass to openreach to investigate.

Regards

I'm fine with the fault, landline sees no use anyway. Been through this too many times to care.

Thanks anyway.
