My broadband works well, but I cannot make outgoing calls on my land line. I can receive calls, but when I try to dial out, I can hear the numbers being dialled and then I get a monotone noise. I have bought a new phone in case that was the issue. I have tried every microfilter that I own, and also tried without the filter. Nothing works. Please can someone help?

The email notification you get of messages is a No Reply address, @idkl1914.
Because PM replies are not working, click on @Chris-TalkTalk's name anywhere and you'll see the option to SEND MESSAGE on a turquoise background tab.
Click on that to compose the message to reply as a fresh PM with any confidential information, and just send to Chris that way.
Ordinary replies, with no personal information details, can simply be posted here.

If you experience the same issue on 2 different telephones connected to the Test Socket then the next step will be to arrange an engineer visit. If you'd like us to do this please let us know and we'll confirm some details

I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test has not detected any faults - Line test is clear.
Have you tested the new phone at the test socket with the router removed from the line?
