My home landline

My home landline does not work. I cannot receive calls or make calls. I tried switching  the phone on and off, as suggested,  but this has not worked. The phone has being like this all day. The phone worked O.K yesterday. I believe this is an external fault, when will this be fixed.?

Hi MargoBridge,

 

Line test is showing a loop fault which is often caused by a fault with wiring or device in the home.

 

How many telephone sockets do you have? Do you have anything connected to your telephone socket(s) in addition to your router?

 

Could you test with your telephone connected to your Test Socket if you have one. Do you have another telephone that you can test with?
