My broadband seems to be perfectly OK but I have no voice line. Callers hear a ringing tone but nothing happens at this end. When I try to dial out there is no dial tone.
I have tried a seperate corded phone in the main and test sockets with the same result.
Exactly the same thing happened a few weeks ago and an OpenReach engineer fixed it at the supply pole by swapping us to a spare line. He said the problem then was actually underground.
Can anyone help, please?
The fault was handed over to Openreach yesterday and will be assigned to an engineer in the next 24/48 hours.
We can check the ticket on Wednesday for an update.
