Can you please let me know what the ticket said - and assuming they are reporting the line fault as cleared can I schedule a line test for daytime Wednesday of next week - to give me the opportunity to detach all equipment from the line.

Bumping this thread - so that I get an answer.

Hi @bassplayerchris

The fault ticket advises Local OR problem.

Is the problem still present?   We can schedule a Line test tomorrow if so.

Hi -

It's unclear to me whether it's resolved, because on the one hand the voice path is cleaner (though there is still some crackling once the dialtone ends).  But the stats on the DSL path doesn't seem to have improved, currently still getting 13 down and 5 up, with Signal Attenuation down of 20.9 and up 31.1

Hi @bassplayerchris

I'll pass it back to the network team as a high resistance fault is now being detected.  This will be causing the slow speeds.

Thanks. I rang over the weekend, and had a test conducted on the line with my equipment disconnected - a bridge tap was diagnosed.

An engineer attended today and resolved the issue - I'm now getting 30M/7M up/down respectively.
