I have the withhold number feature enabled on my account (that keeps your number private when you call from home). My friend recently had a feature enabled on her telephone that automatically rejects withheld numbers (as she was getting inundated with nuisance calls, she's with Sky).
Unfortunately now because of this, I am unable to get through to her using my landline because her service automatically bars calls from withheld numbers. 😭 I know years ago you used to be able to shield numbers by dialling 141 before the number, so I wondered whether there was a similar number I could ring before my friend's number that would temporarily display my number so that I can call her on my landline without resorting to using my mobile. 🤔
In other words, is there something I can do without resorting to removing the "withhold number feature" from my landline so that my calls will get through to her?
Many thanks for your help in advance!
