Our landline is not working and broadband is OK. Have checked connections, tried another phone (BT) and the test socket. All the same: no dial tone and engaged tone on line. How do I get this fixed, please?
Can you also check our broadband as we suffer so service outages sines being upgraded, sporadic service!

I'm really sorry to hear this.
I've completed a line test which has detected a loop fault and this fault can often be caused by internal wiring or equipment connected to the line.
Is the phone still at the test socket at the moment?

Have you checked for faults in Service Centre, @stevesjms ?
It can sometimes get you started on diagnosing a fault ahead of staff getting back on here from Monday.
