Wrong Home Phone number

Today I started the process of switching to TalkTalk from Sky. Unfortunately when I sign into my account the home phone number is wrong by one digit, I wanted to keep my original telephone number. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

@theoretikos, please just stick to this one thread, to avoid duplication and confusion!


You need to complete your community forum profile details. Please go via your avatar/name; settings; from the drop down menu that starts with "email", choose Personal Information. 


Add the phone number as it currently shows in My Account with the error.


At the end of this section find Private Notes. Add your phone number as it was when you were with Sky. SAVE CHANGES. 


Please look out for a reply from TT staff during the day.  If this is just a clerical error, there's a chance it can be corrected. 


If your original number has been allocated to someone else, it may be irreversible. 


Just wait for a reply from staff.
