We've now had about 10  people phoning  saying they are returning our calls but we do not use this phone for outgoing calls. I cant find a way of reporting this as an issue other than this forum, any suggestions?

If you check your online account and do not see any call history it is likely someone has spoofed your number when making cold calls.

There is absolutely nothing you can do about spoofing.

Hello,

Do you have a phone connected to the line? If you dial 17070 from your home phone does it read back the correct number? Please do not post any personal information on the Community.

Thanks

Dial 17070 from your landline to check what is read back to you, @UncleBof.

Add that number in Private Notes and complete your community forum profile details.

Go via your avatar/name; settings; from the drop down menu that starts with "email" choose Personal Information. Add the Talktalk landline number associated with your account here.

At the end of that section, in Private Notes, add the number that is read back, even if it's the same.

SAVE CHANGES.

It may, of course, be that your own number is showing up on people's Caller Identity Display, having been spoofed.

Either way, your thread is in the queue for attention. Please look out for a reply from TT staff.
