Hi,

This is an urgent issue - I have not been able to work from home for the last few weeks because of new secrity updates.

I ahve called and they say that they cannot help and I will need to put a note on the community.

Please can someone assist asap?

Thanks,

Hi Keith,

I have no idea what talk talk did to the network.

A few weeks ago I was working from home fine now I am blocked my accessing their vpn.

I spoke with my IT team an apparently this is a know issue that talk talk updates and block me accessing my network drive.

I am able to use my phone data and even Starbucks wifi to connect but not talk talk.

Do you have the DSL-3782 router, if not what router/firmware are you using? The 3782 router does have VPN issues, the HG633 when running the latest firmware (V2.00) is fine, as is the TalkTalk WiFi hub.

Hi,

I have the HG633.

I'm not really sure what firmware.

Thanks,

Melissa

I will ask one of TalkTalk's OCEs to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

The forum is not real-time 24/7 support, so depending on how busy they are & how many are working at any one time, this can take 24 - 48 hrs (excluding weekends & limited cover on Bank Holidays). Alternatively, you can call the call centre or use online chat. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. So the fewer entries you make on your thread now, the sooner they will pick it up.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

Hi Melissa

Please can you update your Community profile to include your name, telephone number and alternative contact number, we can then look into this further (Please do not post this information on this thread)

Please bump this thread to confirm once your Community profile has been updated.

Thanks

Hi Melissa

I've checked and your router has the latest firmware version, we also don't block the VPN connection.

Did this work previously with this router?

Please can you try factory resetting your router using the pin hole reset for 10 seconds and retesting following this?

Thanks

Debbie
